CT-204 Cable Seeker

The CT-204 cable seeker helps technicians track and identify a target optical cable among many bundled cables without interrupting live service. Based on the optical elastic effect, knocking, bending or sloshing signals on the cable are converted into visual and audio signals by coherent demodulation, shown as a real-time waveform on the 7-inch LCD touch screen and heard through the headset. With a 40km test distance over a single fiber (no loop needed), it covers long spans and finds the target cable quickly. This non-destructive technology accurately locates and identifies cables in manholes, wells, tunnels, pipe-lines and on overhead poles.
